Find your political match
As the presidential election starts to draw more and more attention, you will hear lots of speeches and see lots of advertisements in all media. With the shouting and finger pointing growing louder, we thought this would be a good time to remember all that “critical thinking” you have to endure in many of your classes. Now is a great time to put it to the test!
Come into the library and take a look at the display case located by the main floor entry. Pardon us as we poke a little fun at Match.com. Rather than finding your lifelong mate, you are now faced with finding your electable match. Through the use of QR Codes, we are providing the resources to find out more about the issues, as well as an opportunity to discover some very helpful websites that will cut through the political banter and hopefully, get to the truth. See if you can detect which of the current slew of candidates is fibbing or telling the truth.
If you are new to using QR Codes, we have provided a simple set of instructions for downloading a scanner app on your smartphone. Here is an example of a QR Code that will lead you to the Baker University Library.
See you at the Kansas primaries on March 10, 2012.
