Food Preservation.
At the beginning of Interterm, Nate Poell — our resident maker of cider, sauerkraut, pickled eggs and who-knows-what-else — filled the library display case with various books, kitchen implements and actual food to complement Tanya Sieber’s class, “You Eat What You Are.” Nate also created a short food preservation bibliography, which is still available at the reference desk.
Children’s Literature.  Students in Carolyn Doolittle’s Children’s Literature class are taking responsibility for displays this spring. The first iteration displays books by Patricia Polacco, Tomie de Paola, and Judy Blume. These displays will change frequently, so stop by to see if your favorite writers are highlighted.
